Alice Hamblett was born and raised in Rhode Island. She earned her undergraduate degree in anthropology in 2017 and her masters of public health degree in 2020 from Brown University. As an undergraduate, she studied under Wendy Edwards, MA. She lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
Alice uses water colors, oils and textiles to explore intimacy, genealogy and the ocean she grew up with.
